These works were recorded in 1974 by recording engineer Bob Auger, and were originally released on Unicorn and then Poseidon Records. The original tape utilized Dolby-A noise reduction. For this compact disc, the tapes were rerecorded digitally at Digital Soundworks, New York, using a Sony 1630 digital processor.
