Fronted by former bricklayer Reg Presley, The Troggs roared into the charts in 1966 with the garage-rock classics ‘Wild Thing’, ‘With A Girl Like You’ and ‘I Can’t Control Myself’. But there was much more to the Andover four-piece than primitive rock’n’roll, as the beautiful ‘Love Is All Around’ – later a massive international hit for Wet Wet Wet – showed. This 20-track collection includes all the group’s big hits, plus their finest B-sides and album tracks, right through from ‘Wild Thing’ to ‘Crazie Annie’, a 1992 collaboration with R.E.M
