Record Research Inc.

A version of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech, recorded at Detroit's
Cobo Hall in 1963, was issued by Motown on Gordy 7023, b/w Liz Lands' rendition of
"We Shall Overcome" (see Vol. 3), on April 3, 1968, just four days after his assassination.
The recording is controlled by the King estate.

Non-release notes:
CD edition limited to 6000 limited edition copies (Hip-O Select).

Exact US release date culled from Hip-O Select. According to most online retailers the item was released in the UK on November 19, 2007

Disc 1-6 corresponds to 38-43 in The Complete Motown Singles series.

All musician credits and backing vocals, production, engineering or songwriting credits taken from the track-by-track annotations and essays (Submitter's note).

Full production credit for 42.07 and 42.09 reads The Clan: Berry Gordy, Deke Richards, R. Dean Taylor and Frank Wilson. The names are excluded in the credits here as they constituted The Clan, and would only add unnecessary clutter to the database (Submitter's note).
