NOTES

The CD, "ILLUSION' was recorded in March, 1999, in Orange County, California. Ernie had been a regular performer with his quartet at one of Southern Californiua's most prestigious jazz clubs, STEAMERS CAFE, where his many fans encouraged him to produce a CD. Ernie added trumpeter and colleague, Jim Linahon to his regular Quartet for this project. The synergy that was prevalent through the sessions comes through the improvised solos that compliment one another. One tune each from famous composers Jerome Kern, Kenny Barron, and Wayne Shorter and six original jazz compositions fill out the nine charts on this swinging jazz instrumental CD.
