notes

Two CDs of unreleased recordings from one of Rock's greatest tours.
Mixed and Mastered from the original multi-track show tapes for the 1st Time Ever.
56 page booklet with stunning, rare photographs and in-depth notes.
LIMITED EDITION: Includes DVD featuring performances of "Tangled Up In Blue" an "Isis" in PCM Stereo and 5.1 Digital Surround Sound.

Producer's Note: Although crude bootlegs of these performances have circulated for years, we felt that the only way to capture the excitement of these remarkably powerful stage performances was by limiting our selections only to the 24 track recordings made by a professional sound truck in Worcester, Boston, Cambridge and Montreal. Because the Revue's material was relatively similar from night to night, we decided to choose what we considered were the best of these performances and assemble them roughly the way they might have occurred once Bob Dylan stepped onto the stage. We also decided not to duplicate the two previously released versions of "Romance In Durango" and "Isis" which were included on 1985's multi-disc set "Biograph".
