Carnival Overture, Op. 92
notes
Recorded on 27th and 28th November, 1935 in EMI Abbey Road Studio No. 1, London℗ & © 2009 Naxos Rights International Ltd. Made in the EU
The Slavonic Dances were transferred from prewar American Victor "Red Seal Scroll" label pressings, their most quiet form of issue, while the Carnival Overture came from wartime Victor shellacs. The best portions of sides from multiple copis were used in order to minimize sonic deficiencies.
