notes

Tracks 1-14 recorded in Montreal, 1989.

"Don't Waste My Time" relies heavily on Howlin' Wolf's "Three Hundred Pounds Of Joy" single from 1963.

"For All I Care" is the version that was released in 1985 on the 'It Came From Canada' comp. rather than the re-recording in 1986 for their 'Tyrants of Teen Trash' album.

Notes on the cover songs:

"Out Of Our Tree" is a cover of The Wailers' single from 1965.

"Won't You Listen" is a cover of a track from the Outsiders' s/t album released in 1967. It should also have been credited to Wally Tax. The Gruesomes may have heard this song on the 'Searching In The Wilderness' compilation from 1986.

"I Try" is a cover of The Young Tyrants' B-side ("I Try !") from 1967. The Gruesomes likely heard it on the 'Open Up Yer Door!' compilation from 1984 - the year before they recorded it.

"Jack The Ripper" (later recorded as "Jack The Ripper Pt. 2") is a cover of The One Way Streets' single B-side from 1967 (which was a cover of Screaming Lord Sutch's first single from 1963). It should have been credited to Charles G. Stacey, Walter Haggin, and Joe Simmons. The Gruesomes would've heard it on the 1st 'Back From The Grave' compilation in 1983.

"The Witch" is a cover of The Sonics' single from 1964.

"I Never Loved Her" is a cover of The Starfires' single from 1965. It should have been credited to Freddie Fields.
