"Back at the turn of the century, I teamed up with my good buddy Farhad (Yak) in order to attempt to implement every idea we could dream up for a hip-hop album. We poured substantial time and energy into it and came up with some pretty interesting results, I'd say.

Originally, when it was released in July 2001, not many people heard this outside of our circles of friends and family. But one exciting byproduct of my career with Flobots was been that inquiring fans uncovered this album. In fact, for a while people were offering uite a bit for copies of the album.

Several years ago, we reprinted Onomatopoeia and began selling it again online, with the proceeds going to Flobots.org.
