Very similar to Nina Simone - Nina Simone Sings The Blues but with a different catalogue number, minor package features and a different manufacturer.
Issued in a standard jewel case, but with a 12 page (rather than a 10 page) cover booklet. On the back of the CD cover booklet, a facsimile of the original LP back cover (c) 1967, is included Sid McCoy's original liner notes, a photograph of Ms. Simone, LP A-side and B-side track listings, credits and technical data on RCA's (new?) DYNAGROOVE records. the booklet's pages also include original producer, Sid McCoy's liner notes as well as another list of the tracks included in this compilation (with slightly different track times), photographs, and new liner noteds by David Nathan, November, 2005.

The numbers 82876 73334 2 are printed on the disc face above the RCA and Legacy logos, reflecting part of this disc's M/R number line. However, it is also the catalogue number listed on a number of other RCA/Legacy releases. Disc face also states "Printed in the U.S.A.
