Smitty’s vision and passion is what has driven him to create this work called “Just A Modern Guy.” Born and raised in the Motor City, and moving to the Athens of America when he was still a young man, Smitty has relentlessly pursued his desire to create music and art from the very start. With a long history of collaboration with many of Detroit’s and Boston’s best musicians and artists, this is Smitty’s very first foray into fronting his own project. Ever the provocateur, this collection of eclectic songs represents the creative mind of a lifelong absurdist thinker. Literal and abstract. Precise and loose. Subtle and serious. After everything is said and done, Smitt E. Smitty is just a modern guy.
