God Saved Us to Change Us follows the journey of a little caterpillar accepting Jesus into her heart with the guidance of her mother butterfly. Once the little caterpillar accepts Christ, she then becomes a beautiful butterfly like her mother. This demonstrates the idea that when Christ enters our hearts it is evident throughout our lives in the way that we live and obey God's word. This is based on the scripture, 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." This children's book introduces young people to the idea that we should not hide what God has done for us, but instead share it with the world so that they too can find the newness of life only available through Jesus Christ.
