Portia Smith is a self-care and mental health wellness advocate. Smith is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor.

Smith's specialty is in behavior management, anxiety disorders, suicide intervention and prevention, and crisis counseling. She finds the number of young people succumbing to these issues disconcerting, to say the least.
