7So You Call Yourself A Counselor? was written to understand how school counselors' words and interactions impacted first-generation African American students' post-secondary aspirations, to identify commonalities among the students, and to enlighten school counselors about the potential power and impact their words and interactions have on potential FGAACS' post-secondary aspirations.
