5Fourteen-year-old Elijah Storm is a typical teenage boy who thirsts for adventure and puts up with his family's Christianity. It is not that Elijah doesn't want to be a Christian; it is that he loves adventures and sees the Christian life as boring. Through the sudden death of his grandfather, Elijah learns that the Christian life is the greatest adventure in all creation as he discovers an amazing new realm and embarks on a life-long quest to take his grandfather's place as a defender of the realms.
