Lightner is Professor of Systematic Theology Emeritus at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has taught courses in biblical studies and theology at Baptist Bible Seminary and Dallas Theological Seminary for almost fifty years. His previous books include 'Handbook of Evangelical Theology'; 'The Last Days Handbook'; 'The Epistles of First, Second, and Third John and Jude'; 'The Death Christ Died'; 'Sin, the Savior, and Salvation'; and 'Angels, Satan, and Demons'.
