The book encourages genuine believers to question the "religious norm" by utilizing the Scriptures and trusting the guidance of His Holy Spirit rather than the intuitive wisdom of men. We are continuously reminded, it is our salvation that is at stake, and we should diligently strive to "work it out with fear and trembling." Bobby Ramsey is not a pastor and has never attended seminary or Bible college. He was born on December 25, 1952, in Greenville, South Carolina, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Clemson University in 1974. Upon entering the business world, he assumed an order entry position at a metals company and would later become President and CEO of a partnership involving metal fabrication, retiring in 2017. He presently resides with his wife Barbara of forty-six years and is the proud father of two children - Erica and Elizabeth, and son-in-law Don. The family presently resides in the Upstate of South Carolina.
