9Bamboos & Box Braids is a collection of poetry that symbolizes the realities of being a black woman, motherhood, love, trauma, pain, and finding the inner goddess which lies within. Each of the five chapters named, with intention and of depiction, to acknowledge the angels, ancestors, and protectors whom guided the way along the journey.
