6With all that is going on in our country right now children need to know that good will still win out in the end. In Once Upon A Kingdom, The good kingdom is invaded by an evil black knight. The hero (the white knight) challenges evil head on and saves the day. The kingdom is safe once more. I was a pastor's wife for 25 years I worked with the children of our church in Boyne City, MI. My husband passed away in 2016. I met a wonderful man from Three Rivers, Mi. in 2021 and we got married in Feb 2022. While attending a creative writing class for my degree in early childhood education I was asked to write a poem that told a story. I was working with the children of our church on the armor of God. I loved the idea of kings and princesses, and knights. I also love that God will give us the power to overcome evil if we trust in Him. Once upon a kingdom was created from that poem.
