What I have written is not a story; it is pages from a journal that I kept during my first 11 years of nursing. It's the good, bad, funny, and sad, of what I experienced while working on several different types of units at different hospitals. It contains observations of hospital care that may be helpful to new nurses, or anyone. I wrote from 1999 to 2010. There have been many advancements in healthcare since then, but basic nursing care remains much the same. Everything is true, except the names have been changed.
