The Havamal is very sacred text for those interested in Old Norse spirituality. The Havamal was the first book I read when researching into the Old Norse religion. It's a wonderful collection of guidance that is relevant today just as it was long ago. I have attempted my best to translate these ancient words into modern-day English that most speakers could understand, while only interpreting the meaning of words into understandable grammar for English. While also not trying to tamper with the practical structure, integrity and flow of the original verses using "wisdom plus proof equals truth".
