Comets is a poem and the companion book to Something You Protect. Tracing the journey of 100 days solo traveling through Europe, this work studies the act of being alone. It pulls its name from the work of Romanian poet, Nichita Stanescu: "I love you, I shouted, present moment of my life, and my shout shattered into comets."
