What the hell is an economy?

Is this the question that everyone is asking? Maybe not yet.

But ask yourself now, are you:

• thinking of investing in stocks to increase your personal wealth, but not sure what stocks are? How are stocks traded? What are dividends? What sets the price of stocks?
• looking to invest in bonds? If you are going to invest in bonds, or if governments and companies continue to issue bonds, then perhaps we all should understand what debt is, and how wealth is borrowed. Perhaps time to understand what money is, and how it is used to transfer wealth.
