London. Early 1600's during the plague. The theaters have all been closed. Six of Shakespeare's most iconic characters are out of sorts (and out of work) because of the plague. They meet up at The Boar's Head Tavern to ruminate, commiserate, and celebrate life, love, friendship, the pandemic -- their Author -- and the state of the world.
