"In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth." God took a look at everything he created and called it good. Then He took His magnificent, beautiful creation and gave it to mankind giving them dominion over all the earth. Creation was given to people to give Him glory and so mankind could multiply what God had given. It was also given for enjoyment, both yours and His!

Understanding stewardship begins with the realization that everything is from God, for God, and belongs to God. Everything is God's. Then the Lord does the amazing thing of entrusting creation to you, the one made in His image. God trusts you to be a steward over His gift to you.
