She describes the sacrifices made throughout their lives and, how they were still able to find joy in living. The book is short but very contemplative. It offers the reader an authentic view of how important certain moments can be in someone's life, even if barely noticed by others. She also details the enormity of loss. It is an opportunity to understand all lives can be extraordinary and assures us all that most human events have long-lasting importance.
