3As poet and activist Arthur Bull contemplates the Bay of Fundy, the Bay draws out of him discoveries connecting art and commerce, tides and human relations, continuity and change. He draws on classical wisdom (Aristotle, Zhuangzi), insights from artists (Turner, Rothko, Riopelle), and local events (a conflict among fishers, a protest against a proposed quarry) as he seeks to understand what the tides, the sky, and the denizens of the Bay are telling him.
