ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

A delicate story about love, friendship, and memories placed during World War II. An old tree. A turtle named Hitler. Two women. An old house in Vienna that is filled with memories.

Elisabetta has always lived in her childhood home and every summer she prepares jam with the apricots from the tree in her garden. She keeps a jar from every year, just as she also keeps alive the memories of her first love, of her little pet turtle, and of the day when her life changed forever as her parents and sisters were deported by the Schutzstaffel.

When the young and quiet dancer Pola moves into the room that the old woman rents, both women will discover that they must overcome old conflicts that torment them in order to make peace with their past.
